About the Program
To Create an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem spanning across Arunachal Pradesh and to support, nurture and promote a spirit of entrepreneurship in Arunachal Pradesh, the Investment Division of Finance, Planning & Investment Department, Government of Arunachal in partnership with IIMCIP, Kolkata had started Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Programme which was launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister on the eve of 74th Independence Day Celebration-2020.
31 startups were selected in the final round and among them, the selected startups were given Seed Money by the Hon’ble Chief Minister on 14th August 2021. This programme was launched with an objective to identify promising young entrepreneurs from the state and to acknowledge their innovative and mature business Ideas.
The Second Entrepreneurship Challenge is here with the same objective to identify promising young entrepreneurs from the State and to acknowledge their innovative and mature business ideas.
The selected Startups would be given a seed money on milestone basis and would be incubated in the state of the art Innovation and Investment Park in Itanagar.
Program Benefits
- The Selected Start-ups for this program will be provided with up to Rs. 5 lakhs for top 10 and Rs.4.00 Lakhs to the next startups and the seed money which would be paid on milestone basis.

- Training and Focused mentorship through pre-incubation ,Incubation support and funding programs conducted by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP)
- Certificate of recognition to the selected startups selected by Government of Arunachal Pradesh and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP)
- Access to co working space at Arunachal Pradesh Innovation & Investment Park (APIIP)
Eligibility
- A resident of Arunachal Pradesh Above 18 yrs of Age or an Arunachali currently working or residing outside the state, but wishes to return back to the state & become an entrepreneur.
- Early stage venture setup on or after 15th August 2015.
- Applicant’s innovation should be either in an Ideation stage, Minimum Viable Product stage/Proof of Concept o r in Revenue Stage to be incubated in APIIP.
- Should ideally have demonstrated some traction from customers.
- Preference will be given to those with a full-time core team.
- The venture should not belong to the following Industry : Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Firearm & Explosives.
